Today the class presented their power points on the poem "I am nobody. Who are You?" by Emily Dickinson. I learned how the speaker uses form of symbolism and simile in their poem to help readers better understand their message; what the expectations can be in society. It truly gives a perspective to other, trying to fit in can be boring and leads to not being able to find yourself or be who you are. People should learn how to find themselves instead of trying to reach a sort of expectation that was put by society. But sometimes the expectation doesn't come from society but maybe someone close, like a friend, or family member. Today, I feel a little tired and have to stay after school, again.
If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?
Simple. I would go to California and go to Disney Land and Universal Studios and to the beach while renting out an Airbnb. I think I'd like to bring my family (maybe). Sometimes one of them can be in a bad mood and I wouldn't want them to ruin the whole vibe of me visiting either of these places to relax and enjoy the time in Califonia. Disney Land is way bigger than Disney World in Florida and has way cooler rides from what I've seen in videos and ads. In class, we just took the time and made up any missing work we had and I really need to catch up on these blog posts. Today I feel relaxed because in all my classes we did nothing since today is the day before spring break and no one wants to assign any work. Or it could be because there was no wifi throughout the whole day, but I'm not complaining.
