Today, as a class, we read a section of the story "Two Kinds". We reveal how strict the relationship between a daughter and her mother are. As her mother has high expectations, she wants her daughter to become a prodigy and learn all new sorts of talents. I don't think expectations built from parents are bad because they are often put to form a better future for us. But sometimes expectations can lead to a huge impact and build a sort of pressure and stress. This section of the story provides what expectations are put on to kids of immigrant parents and some people might find it relating. Today, I am sleepy, but have to stay after school again.
If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?
Simple. I would go to California and go to Disney Land and Universal Studios and to the beach while renting out an Airbnb. I think I'd like to bring my family (maybe). Sometimes one of them can be in a bad mood and I wouldn't want them to ruin the whole vibe of me visiting either of these places to relax and enjoy the time in Califonia. Disney Land is way bigger than Disney World in Florida and has way cooler rides from what I've seen in videos and ads. In class, we just took the time and made up any missing work we had and I really need to catch up on these blog posts. Today I feel relaxed because in all my classes we did nothing since today is the day before spring break and no one wants to assign any work. Or it could be because there was no wifi throughout the whole day, but I'm not complaining.
