Describe a time when you felt completely lost.

Prompt Response: It was two weeks before finals, and I had just got back from the hospital. I was overwhelmed with 2 months' worth of work and having to also study for finals for all my classes. I was completely lost with most of my lessons and was ready to give up. 

Summary: Today was an introduction to Indian culture. 

Reflection: Indian culture has differences that are not considered normal here in the American culture. Such as guys holding hands, meaning they share a trustful friendship. A major negative trait in their culture is distinguishing those with lighter skin tones from those who appear darker. This social construct should not be considered a thing because this can reflect those to the younger and next generation.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

  Prompt Response:  My connection with a friend began to grow apart as time went by. I didn't know why, but something seemed off. Maybe we were growing tired of one another. I then began to distance myself from them because maybe they might have not cared for me as a friend anymore. I don't know. It wasn't until I brought it up and said why are they acting this way. They proceeded to say "yours weren't enough". I didn't know what they meant by that. I processed those words as they just didn't like me in the way it was before, but that's ok. I have to understand unfortunately you can't keep those you love close all the time and only trying won't bring them any closer or receive what you want from them.  Summary: Today, we did a reflection on our semester.  Reflection:  It's good to have a moment and think both how we are doing in our lives. Why I want a Husband

Today we compared the gender roles of what are expected from a wife and a husband. I liked this lesson because we were able to see the view point of the speaker, on how hard it can be to be a wife, or what is expected from a wife. The things expected from a husband can somewhat be hard to be expected from a man when they are not committed. Today, I have practice after school.
