Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Prompt Response: Exploring the waters through the neighborhoods of Italy is an adventure I would go to. I think the architecture is so beautiful in Italy. Looking at the flowers blooming in the spring and the fish in the rivers. I think it's so fascinating everything you would have to go to, you can go on foot.

Summary: Today was a continuation of the story, A devoted Son.

Reflection: Though in the story, the son becomes a successful doctor after the hard work of his immigrant parents, he is unable to fulfill the wishes of his dying father. After finding out the father is very sick, the son proceeds to feed his father medicine, replacing all the foods and treats the father loved. He was no longer living life but having to suffer his son's success in medicine. Though we think we are helping someone, we often forget the desire that was truly made in the first place. Making the last wishes of someone who we love could be the only last nice thing to do.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.

How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

Looking at my surroundings, talking to friends, and trying to manage my time are three things I try to do to enjoy my day. When I become stress with my studies I always take a sudden pause and just look around my room or the outside of my window. I then just become trapped in my thoughts for a good minute thinking how Im so grateful that I am only stressed about my studies than having the stress over other stuff. Today, we had to finsih our one pager about the two poems we chose. Today I feel good because I am closer to graduation and every day its starting to feel more real, but im excited.
