Write about what you are thankful for.

Prompt Response: I am thankful for my parents. This might seem the most basic answer, but I think it's meaningful. My parents are why I am here today, and soon, I will be going to college. Words can't truly express how grateful I am for them, but once I get the job of my dreams, all I want to do is give them back.

Summary: Today was a continuation of the project and presentation of A Devoted Son.

Reflection: I think we should be more grateful to our parents because they're what try to push us to be good or better. I hope that once I get older, I will be able to care for them so they are left with no worries.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.
