Describe a time you couldn’t stop laughing.

 Prompt Response: A time I couldn't stop laughing took place in my 2nd grade classroom. I don't remember what joke my best friend made, but I only remember the feeling. I was gasping for air, but she continued to add to the joke, and it only made it harder for me to breathe. My stomach was tightened for how hard I was laughing, and I began to create tears from my eyes. In the end, the two of us ended up getting in trouble and got silent lunch, but I think that just made it funnier for the both of us. 

Summary: Today, the class presented their 2-minute presentation on the letter from the book "The Color Purple."

Reflection: I think the story from Celine's perspective is truly sad. Although this is fictional, it really creates an image and harsh feeling for the readers. You get a better understanding of what the character is going through and how her father, who is supposed to protect her, turns out to be the person who is less protected and doesn't care for Celine.

  Prompt Response:  My connection with a friend began to grow apart as time went by. I didn't know why, but something seemed off. Maybe we were growing tired of one another. I then began to distance myself from them because maybe they might have not cared for me as a friend anymore. I don't know. It wasn't until I brought it up and said why are they acting this way. They proceeded to say "yours weren't enough". I didn't know what they meant by that. I processed those words as they just didn't like me in the way it was before, but that's ok. I have to understand unfortunately you can't keep those you love close all the time and only trying won't bring them any closer or receive what you want from them.  Summary: Today, we did a reflection on our semester.  Reflection:  It's good to have a moment and think both how we are doing in our lives. Why I want a Husband

Today we compared the gender roles of what are expected from a wife and a husband. I liked this lesson because we were able to see the view point of the speaker, on how hard it can be to be a wife, or what is expected from a wife. The things expected from a husband can somewhat be hard to be expected from a man when they are not committed. Today, I have practice after school.
