Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.

 Prompt Response: Right now, I can't stop thinking about my final exams for my dual enrollment classes. More specifically, my chem final. I'm upset that my professor is so old and it's to the point it's hard for him to teach, and he isn't able to understand what he saying or doing in the class. Many others are as confused as I am, and I just think it's time for him to retire. 

Summary: We continued to read the book The Color Purple.

Reflection: Celine is now married to a man that she is unfamiliar with, but her father lets it happen because she doesn't care for Celine and only sees her as a mother figure to take care of a child or house. It's really upsetting how situations like these can happen in real life, and some girls don't have the freedom to really choose who they would want to be with or whom to marry in their life.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

  Prompt Response:  My connection with a friend began to grow apart as time went by. I didn't know why, but something seemed off. Maybe we were growing tired of one another. I then began to distance myself from them because maybe they might have not cared for me as a friend anymore. I don't know. It wasn't until I brought it up and said why are they acting this way. They proceeded to say "yours weren't enough". I didn't know what they meant by that. I processed those words as they just didn't like me in the way it was before, but that's ok. I have to understand unfortunately you can't keep those you love close all the time and only trying won't bring them any closer or receive what you want from them.  Summary: Today, we did a reflection on our semester.  Reflection:  It's good to have a moment and think both how we are doing in our lives. Why I want a Husband

Today we compared the gender roles of what are expected from a wife and a husband. I liked this lesson because we were able to see the view point of the speaker, on how hard it can be to be a wife, or what is expected from a wife. The things expected from a husband can somewhat be hard to be expected from a man when they are not committed. Today, I have practice after school.
