Write about a dream that felt real.

 Prompt Response: I was in the forest at night time. I don't necessarily know why I was there, but I was cold and scared because I was alone. I then came across a bond fire before I could rush to it. I saw a group of people, but they seemed abnormal. Their bodies were shaped weirdly, more so like a deer? I was scared because I wasn't sure who was around or what was around me. Eventually, they started a forest fire, and it spread quickly. I began to run and panic. This unrealistic dream was strange, but I woke up with my heart racing and cold. 

Summary: Today, we read further into The Color Purple.

Reflection: Close connections can certainly change even when married to someone. In a relationship, there are always going to difficult times, but in order to solve it, it will take both people to work it out. Talking it out is a way that can solve the problem and try to understand the other person's perspective.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

  Prompt Response:  My connection with a friend began to grow apart as time went by. I didn't know why, but something seemed off. Maybe we were growing tired of one another. I then began to distance myself from them because maybe they might have not cared for me as a friend anymore. I don't know. It wasn't until I brought it up and said why are they acting this way. They proceeded to say "yours weren't enough". I didn't know what they meant by that. I processed those words as they just didn't like me in the way it was before, but that's ok. I have to understand unfortunately you can't keep those you love close all the time and only trying won't bring them any closer or receive what you want from them.  Summary: Today, we did a reflection on our semester.  Reflection:  It's good to have a moment and think both how we are doing in our lives. Why I want a Husband

Today we compared the gender roles of what are expected from a wife and a husband. I liked this lesson because we were able to see the view point of the speaker, on how hard it can be to be a wife, or what is expected from a wife. The things expected from a husband can somewhat be hard to be expected from a man when they are not committed. Today, I have practice after school.
