If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

Prompt Response: If I were to write a poem about my life right now, it will be confusing. I am happy that will graduate soon, but I am scared to grow up in a way. I want to move far away where there is no people, but it is nice to be around them, and I’d also want to give up and drop everything, but I’ve already come this far and accomplished many things. I am in the state where I’m feeling uncertain because I think even one simple choice can change the rest of your life.

Summary: Today, I wrote notes on how to write a thesis statement.

Reflection: Again, these skills will help us now that we are going to college and are going to have to start writing serious paper work. Today, I’m sleepy because I ended up staying up to study for a test, so once I get home I’m going to take a fat nap.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.
