What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you plan to overcome this challenge?

The most challenging part about whirting an essay, is to put your thoughts into words. I'll know the answer, why, and the evidence to a contructive response or when writting a paper, but I don't know how to make sure my words are organized and to make it flow. Today, we did en example how to write a body paraghpagh to soon write a paper of our own. Writing papers once used to be my favorite things to do but as the years went on, that passion faded. I don't like writing papers because often I am asked to write a 750+ word narrative now with MLA format and it must be "perfect". Once I get home, I have to help my mama because yesterday I ended sleeping from 6pm to 7am in the morning today.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.
