Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

The word obdurate is a vocabulary that resonates with me. When some of my friends ask for my advice, they always consider it to be "stubborn" or "cold" when really I'm being realistic. I think many people right now don't really want truthful advice but instead want to hear encouragement from what they are doing even when it can be wrong. Some may take my advice and like how I am, while others leave them speechles and not take it at all. Today we went over a new set of vocabulary words. When I go home I am probably going to have to help my mom around the house so we can go to the mall and find my graduate dress.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.
