What are some common stereotypes that you believed about high school students? How true or not true are these stereotypes?

I believed there would be the big jock bullying the small kid. As a high school student myself, that stereotype is not true at all. Most of the people here don't really care enough to be bullied around and worry about themselves. Sure fights happen here or there, but they're usually for dumb reasons like one talking bad about the other. Like if you're going to fight at least do it outside of school and not cause a scene. Today we continued working on the presentation and since we chose clips from the South Park series, they're pretty unfiltered and I find it funny. I feel good since this project is pretty straightforward.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.
