Write about a time when your failure was necessary for your growth. Examples of failures could be failing a major exam, failure to make a team, failure in a relationship, etc.

It wasn't until this year I failed my first-ever math exam. I have never in my life gotten below a 90 and if so, I only have one grade below an A when I have missed a lot of classes but I'm still able to learn throughout the test and pass. I would say it was my fault because I didn't pay attention as much as I would to least understand the basics of how to solve certain problems and couldn't free throw it as I usually can. I don't think it is an ego thing but more of a lack of self-esteem knowing that this is my last semester and I'm not putting my whole effort onto my work. In class, we looked into more reading or a different version of The Yellow Wallpaper. Today I have my LGPE concert and its frustrating how bad our instructor is at teaching and how egotistical some of the kids in the orchestra don't know how to play together and make everything a competition.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.

How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

Looking at my surroundings, talking to friends, and trying to manage my time are three things I try to do to enjoy my day. When I become stress with my studies I always take a sudden pause and just look around my room or the outside of my window. I then just become trapped in my thoughts for a good minute thinking how Im so grateful that I am only stressed about my studies than having the stress over other stuff. Today, we had to finsih our one pager about the two poems we chose. Today I feel good because I am closer to graduation and every day its starting to feel more real, but im excited.
