Consider a film that portrays your culture. Reflect on how accurately your culture is represented and the potential impacts of this portrayal.

The only film that really portrays my culture is the Pixar film, Coco. Throughout the whole film, it captures the beauty of Mexican culture, traditions, family, agriculture, and even music. I really loved how the film shows how Mexicans and Hispanics love their traditions, are truly rich by the love of their family, and are hard workers instead of lazy and not bonded together with their families. Today, we presented our project and I thought it went better than expected. Today I feel okay, I didn't really feel like coming to school today since in most of my classes we did nothing, but I did not want to get that zero.

The American Dream

Today we filled out a chart how the descisions the characters made had an affect on their future/dreams.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean. It really beautiful to what it may seem as just water but the ocean carries life. Sometimes simple things like water, we tend to be grateful for it. I remember the first time I went to the beach, I immediately fell in love with it. The small fish by the shore, the seashells in the sand, and the seagulls flying above my head. In the night small crabs come out, it was a little scary to me, but I realized not only fish live in the water but also those that get around by crawling. Today we read over a new poem called The Tiger which is the sepaker admiring the creation of the tiger. Today I feel ok and have to study for my calc test that I have tomorrow.
